From M4
Junction 12, follow A4 into Reading, passed Sainsbury’s Savacentre.
At the first set of traffic lights with the Calcot Hotel on your left,
take the filter lane left signposted to Tilehurst. Go up Langley Hill
and at the 4th mini roundabout, turn left into Chapel Hill.
From Reading Town Centre via A4
Follow A4 to Newbury. Turn right at first set of traffic lights signposted
to Tilehurst into Liebenrood Road. Turn left at the next junction, passed Prospect
Park, signposted toTilehurst. Follow road over one mini roundabout, 2 sets
of traffic lights and at the 3rd mini roundabout turn right into School Road.
At the next mini roundabout, turn left into Chapel Hill.
From Caversham
Cross Caversham bridge. Turn right at roundabout (Holiday Inn on your right).
Keep going straight, passed the leisure centre on your right and under the 2 bridges.
Turn right at mini roundabout.
Next large roundabout (Oxford Road), turn right signposted A329 Pangbourne.
Straight at next roundabout (Waitrose on your right)
At the next roundabout take the 2nd exit into Overdown Road.
Straight over at 1st mini roundabout (shops on your right).
Next roundabout turn left (still Overdown Road then goes into Upper Elmstone Drive).
Carry on until reach 2 mini-roundabouts very close together. 1st one, go straight and 2nd one turn left into Chapel Hill. (No sign).
Approximately 10 minutes from Pangbourne
Start out on Church Road and turn right at the mini-roundabout onto the A329
(signposted to Reading). At the next mini-roundabout bear right onto The Square,
A329 (signposted Reading) and continue forward onto Purley Rise, A329, entering
Purley on Thames. At the roundabout take the 2nd exit onto Purley Rise, A329
and turn right into Long Lane. Turn left into Dark Lane, entering Tilehurst.
At the roundabout take the 2nd exit onto Overdown Road. This then goes into Lower
Elmstone Drive. Carry on until you reach 2 mini roundabouts very close together.
1st one, go straight and 2nd one turn left into Chapel Hill. (No sign).
Travelling by bus from Reading Town Centre
No. 17 bus
This bus will drop you off at School Road and Chapel Hill is on your right. You should disembark the bus at the stop after the Triangle (parade of shops on both left and right side). To board the number 17 bus from the Reading Town Centre, you can either board at Minster Street, outside St Mary’s Butts Centre or Cheapside.
No 31 or 33A bus
This bus will drop you off at School Road and Chapel Hill is on your right. You should disembark the bus at the stop after the Triangle (parade of shops on both left and right side) To board the number 33 bus from the Reading Town Centre, you can board at the Reading Central Railway Station, Friar Street (outside Yates Wine Lodge), Minster Street or Castle Street (outside Pitmans Solicitors).
